The Foundation's aim is to build local sports centers and set up social development programs for the benefit of the populations living in the vicinity of the Olympafrica centers.<br \/>\nThe NOC owns the infrastructure known as the Olympafrica Centre, and contributed financially to its construction.<br \/>\nTo be awarded a project to build an Olympafrica center, the NOC must own a plot of land of at least 2.5 ha, ready for construction (earthworks already completed), and located in an area lacking in local sports facilities, but rich in educational establishments. It can then submit an application to the Olympafrica Foundation.<br \/>\nThe construction will be financed by both parties, with a minimum NOC contribution of 15% of the overall budget.
