The OlympAfrica project is participating in and supporting the blood pressure screening campaign.
The OlympAfrica project helped support and implement a blood pressure screening campaign in collaboration with the pharmaceutical company CDC and the Sudanese Hypertension Society, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and prevent chronic diseases within the community.
The campaign aimed to promote the practice of regular screening for high blood pressure, enable the early detection of cases of hypertension, and provide necessary health advice on prevention and treatment methods, particularly among young people, athletes, and gym-goers.
The campaign organizers emphasized that this initiative is part of the participating partners’ corporate social responsibility programs and helps support national efforts to reduce the prevalence of hypertension and its complications through awareness-raising and early diagnosis.
